Let's play!

A box of loose bags and rubber bands slows every game night down. Your insert gives every card, token and board its own place, so you set up faster and pack up without hunting for pieces.

Small decisions you feel when you play

We measured the real components of Terraforming Mars and shaped every tray around them.

Lids that park underneath

Every lidded tray closes with the same flush lid. When you play, flip the lid over and set the tray on it: it clicks on underneath, so it never wanders off across the table.

Square bays for cards

Sleeved cards sit in square bays on a flat floor, so no card rides up a curve. A thumb cut at each short end lets you reach the very last card.

Card trays

Curved wells for tokens

Every token well has round corners and a rounded floor, so tokens slide out under one finger instead of hiding in a corner.

Tiles that stand up and fan out

Cassettes keep flat tiles upright in the box. On the table, lay one down and the tiles fan out, ready to pick up.

One design system, every tray

The same features come back on every tray. Learn one and you know them all.

How your insert is made

Two colours of matte PLA: Terracotta outside, Desert Tan where the game goes in. Every curve, click and pocket is shaped around the way you play.

The corner-pip click

Four small pips inside the lid's skirt drop into matching dimples in the tray's neck. As the lid goes down, the skirt flexes out over the neck; when the pips reach the dimples it springs back. That release is the click you feel.

The pips sit near the corners, where the skirt is stiffest, so every tray in the family clicks with the same feel whatever its size. The neck has a dimple at both ends, so the lid clicks on top for the box and underneath during play.

Curves on every edge

Rims, grips, thumb cuts, lid edges and well floors all get the largest curve the part allows. Corners use continuous-curvature blends: the bend starts at zero and grows smoothly, so light runs over an edge without a visible line.

The only square corners are the ones that hold sleeved cards and the flat lands that carry weight.

The comb lines show how sharply the edge bends at each point.

Printed without supports

Every surface is shaped to print with no support material: overhangs stay at 45° or less, and nothing has to be cut away or sanded.

The two colours are painted onto the faces of the model itself, so each colour follows the shape of the part and no part carries a printed label.
